Update on School Closure
As you know, students will be taking online classes for at least two weeks. We hope to return to classes on campus on Monday, November 23, but we may be online longer. We will follow the directions of the MOEYS. As we receive information, we will keep you updated. Thanks for your patience and flexibility during this time.
Remind your students to wear their masks, wash their hands, and practice social distancing if they are out and about around town.
LPA Day of Giving Thanks
Wednesday, November 25, 2020
Dear Logos Families,
As the year comes to a close, the Logos teachers and staff continue to work hard to provide continuity in education despite challenging circumstances. In gratitude, the Logos Parent Association is organizing a day to share thanks and appreciation to all teachers and staff.
We would like to request parents and students to send an email of thanks or encouragement to your child’s teachers on November 25. Notes might include meaningful comments including specific things they have said or done that helped your child. Don’t forget about the specials’ teachers too (art, music, PE, Khmer, English support, etc).
The LPA would also like to show our support of teachers and staff by providing snacks and drinks for them to enjoy on Wednesday, Nov 25. If you are willing to help, please go to the google form here: https://forms.gle/Mk119GPDs5enPqrN8
The year 2020 has been challenging, but together parents, students, teachers, and staff continue to make Logos a nurturing community. Go Lightning!
Sincerely, Aimee Cima
Logos Parent Association (LPA)
Sad News- William Chamroeun
Former Logos graduate William Chamroeun (Class of 2017) lost his battle with liver cancer and passed away on November 13. The Logos community is deeply grieved by his loss, and Logos would like to help support his family during this difficult time. We have a donation box in the office if anyone would like to contribute to support his family as they deal with medical and funeral expenses.

Return of School Lunch
At this time, we are not sure what the MOEYS will require when we are allowed to reopen our campus to students. We hope to provide school lunches, but we will keep you posted about dates and costs as we receive more information from the MOEYS.
Flu Vaccination Clinic – Postponed
Due to increased COVID precautions and school closure, we will postpone our Flu Vaccination Clinic. We will update you when we have more information.

Groups of LPA parents gather regularly to pray for the needs of the school, the Logos community, staff, teachers and students. Three different prayer groups meet to pray in three different languages. These are open to both moms and dads. We would love to have you join us!
